Andy Smith has spent more than 35 years in the newspaper business, including the past 30 years in the Tampa Bay area where he served primarily as a page designer and editor in the Tampa Tribune sports department until it closed in May 2016. Andy earned degrees from Florida State University and the University of Florida and began his career as a writer and columnist in Daytona Beach. His passion is genealogy and reuniting centuries-old family Bibles with descendants of the Bible’s original owners.
