Dixie Southern, a steel fabrication company, specializes in pressure vessels, tanks, piping and duct-work. The company began in 1976, and opened a new office in Bradenton in early 2011. President and CEO Stan Kinnett says Dixie Southern currently employs approximately 50 people, and plans to double its workforce in the next three to five years.
