Lucky Dogs was founded by Jack Hamilton of Hamilton Engineering & Surveying Inc. In 2010, he opened an upscale doggie daycare and kennel operation. Lucky Dogs is located at 311 N. Newport Ave. in Tampa. Hamilton hired Chelsea E. Smith as general manager of the new venture, which employs eight workers, including an overnight dog sitter. Grooming services are also available.
