Brody Welte moved to St Petersburg from Hawaii to carry out his vision for
Stand Up Fitness.
His journey to find the perfect spot to launch took him from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic, through North Carolina and along Florida's watery coastline before he threw out an anchor in Tampa Bay.
In 2009, the youthful entrepreneur started a multiple-dimensional fitness and recreation business that explores the waters around St. Petersburg, Tampa and Temple Terrace by paddle.
Welte's tours of Tampa Bay often include trips along the Hillsborough River.
