Video: Highlights at Tampa Bay Startup Week 2015

Tampa Bay’s inaugural Startup Week was a great opportunity from all members of the community to get involved and that is what we saw.

Those in fashion, coding, making and more, came out to see what Startup Week was all about. The feedback was extraordinary and we are already lining up events for next year.

The community discussions that took place brought attention to the awesome things that are happening here in Tampa Bay and why we are all proud to call Tampa Bay, home.

Consider:

1. Over 2,000 attendees
2. Over 70 events
3. 18.9M impressions for Startup Week social media accounts

Among the highlights:
  • Tampa Bay will be sending two local tech companies to Tech Celebrate after its second local Tech Cocktail event. The two companies are City Sleekers and Viral Style.
  • The NYT best selling author of “The Lean Entrepreneur,’’ Brant Cooper, drew a large crowd of local entrepreneurs that wanted to learn more about innovation, disruption and tactics to grow their business.
  • Chase Basecamp was a huge success. Located at 1930 E 7th Ave, Chase Basecamp hosted nearly half the week's events from keynotes and panels to workshops and showcases.
Chase Bank and Hillsborough County (EDi2) made this event possible.
