IVANS Provides Tech Solutions, Adds 5 Jobs In Tampa

IVANS, a technology solutions provider for the insurance industry, is adding five employees at its Tampa office.

The company manages data exchanges, primarily between hospitals and Medicare, as well as independent agents and insurance carriers. Property and casualty companies, retail stores and private businesses are also served by IVANS for streamlining operations and improving customer service through technology solutions. IVANS, based in Stamford, CT, opened an office in Tampa in 1992 to be closer to its business partner IBM.

According to Maggie O’Hare, IVANS VP of marketing and HR, the company is focused on developing new products, which means hiring more staff to help market those products.

“We are currently looking to hire five people at our Tampa office,” O’Hare says. “We are looking to hire people in product management, support roles and sales positions.”

IVANS, which opened in 1983, currently employs 105 people nationwide.

“We plan to grow our staff to 130 by the end of the second quarter this year,” O’Hare says. “We hope to fill the five positions in Tampa within the next two months.”

O’Hare says that the company is looking for certain characteristics to fill these five job openings.

“We are looking to hire people who are aggressive, wanting to grow with the company, and are passionate about customer service,” she says. “We also look for people who are innovative in their approach to business.”

IVANS Tampa office is at 5405 Cypress Center Drive, #150 in the Westshore District.
