Clear Channel Radio is seeking people for behind-the-scenes positions.
The company is looking to hire someone with an accounting degree for an
entry-level staff accountant position, and for someone with an
advertising degree to become an account executive.
According to Russell Link, controller at
Clear Channel Radio, the staff
accountant would work in the business office that involves credit
approval, specific accounts, and general ledger accounting.
"The account executive is specifically a sales person for
radio advertisement," Link says.
The sales
position requires someone who is self-motivated with excellent
negotiation skills because the person must bring in new business as well
as develop existing clients.
Both positions
include benefits, such as medical, vision, life, 401k and paid vacation
and sick leave.
Clear Channel's goal with the
account executive position is to grow business in the community with
both radio and outdoor advertising.
The media
company has 1,200 plus stations in more than 300 U.S. markets and 200
stations outside the United States.
