Academy Award-winning actress Anna Paquin, best known these days for her role as Sookie Stackhouse on HBO's "True Blood," will star in an independent film expected to shoot in Sarasota until the end of November.
The film, titled "Free Ride," will incorporate period boats, cars and homes from the community that appear to be from the 1970s.
The crew will also use facilities provided by the Sarasota Film Festival, according to
