USF Architecture Students Visit China's New Eco-City

Nine students from the University of South Florida's College of The Arts School of Architecture + Community Design recently returned from a trip to study urban design in China.

They learned about China's efforts to reduce stress on the environment through renewable energy, conforming to green building standards and reducing carbon emission.

Professor Shannon Bassett's students are designing a town that would fit into the new Tianjin-Singapore Eco-City.
