Travel Restrictions Eased Between U.S., Cuba

The Obama Administration recently announced travel to Cuba would be allowed for U.S airports equipped with customs and immigrations capabilities.

Eligible airports currently include Miami, New York and Los Angeles. Tampa, Orlando and Atlanta are among the cities expected to apply for hosting approval, according to the Cuba Standard.

The easing of travel restrictions will also allow universities to offer travel to Cuba for academic credit.
