Tampa Bay Water will receive $31.25 million in construction funding from the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
The Tampa Bay Seawater Desalination plant successfully completed a four-part test to turn seawater into high-quality drinking water for the 2.5 million residents it serves in Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties.
