HCC Aims To Increase Grad Rates Through New Grants

Funds totaling $4.6 million were recently awarded to Hillsborough Community College. The funds include a $3.15 million grant from the Department of Education to increase graduate rates among Hispanic students and a $1.5 million private grant from the Helios Education Foundation to ensure students receive assistance in troublesome areas, such as mathematics.
