Lakewood Ranch may soon be home to a bi-county Design and Economic Acceleration Lab.
The facility, proposed by
State College of Florida President Lars
Hafner,
Schroeder-Manatee Ranch Inc., President and CEO Rex Jensen, and
Gulf Coast Community Foundation Vice President Mark Pritchett, would
take up 72,000-square-feet on University Parkway in Manatee County.
The DEAL center would combine Manatee and Sarasota counties in an effort
to boost economic development efforts between the two regions.
