Terence Ramotar, vice president of Transcare Ambulance Services in Tampa, is one of ten national recipients of the Journal of Emergency Medical Services' Innovators in EMS 2009 Awards. Ramotar spearheaded a green initiative to reduce the electrical load of ambulances and keep equipment batteries charged.
Ramotar is also the former director of support services for Sunstar EMS in Pinellas County.
