USF Prof Named Top U.S. Engineering Educator

The American Society of Engineering Education has named a University of South Florida educator its selection for the 2011 Outstanding Teaching Medal.

Mechanical engineering professor Autar Kaw will be recognized for his work at the upcoming ASEE conference in Vancouver. It is the highest honor from ASEE, the leading professional organization in engineering.

Professor Kaw tapes his lectures and posts them on YouTube, thanks to grants from the National Science Foundation. His lectures have drawn more than half a million views to date.
