Moving Hillsborough Forward, a Hillsborough County-based organization of residents, businesses and civic groups, raised $1 million toward their effort to spread the word on the need for an expansion of transportation opportunities in the area.
The goal of the
organization is to invest in educating the public on the proposed sales tax increase that will appear on November 2 ballots and to advocate in favor of the initiative.
Members of the organization include, among others, members of the Greater Tampa and St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerces, Tampa Bay Builders Association and the Sierra Club.
