Tampa-Based Company Texts Timely Tips To New Moms

MarketWatch reports that Tampa-based company Syniverse has recently developed the connectivity aspect of a program that will provide timely pregnancy and motherhood tips to new and expectant mothers.

The service, called text4baby, will be free to registered users. It will provide weekly tips on nutrition, prevention of birth defects, seasonal illness, mental health, and more. Expectant mothers can text "BABY" (or "BEBE" for Spanish) to 511411.

Syniverse CEO Tony Holcombe says that he hopes the initiative will help drive down the number of premature births and infant deaths.
