Sarasota's New College of Florida recently unveiled its new Optical Spectroscopy and Nano-Materials Lab, which will conduct nanotechnology research.
The lab was established in part through a $1.7 million multiyear U.S. Army Research Laboratory grant -- the largest federal grant in the school's history.
Kiplinger also recently
named New College the #5 Best Value Public College in the country, up from #11 in 2011.
