The National Endowment for the Arts recently announced grants awarded to three Tampa Bay area art institutions.
The Sarasota Opera Association received a $28,000 grant to support workshop activities for a youth opera production. Opera Tampa received $22,500 to support its New Artists Professional Training Program and the Salvador Dali Museum was awarded $44,000 to support conservation of paintings in the museum's permanent collection, according to the
St. Petersburg Times.
Tarpon Springs also received an
NEA grant totaling $40,000 in May to support a cultural center called the Gulf Coast Folklife Center.
