Three Tampa Bay area hospitals were recently recognized by the National Research Corporation (NRC) in its 2010/2011 Consumer Choice Award.
Tampa General Hospital, Lakeland Regional Medical Center and Sarasota Memorial Health Care System were among the facilities named in the survey, covering more than 300 markets.
The award is based off a national survey to 250,000 households on which hospitals they prefer.
