Philanthropic Young Tampa Bay aims to bring together young professionals with an enthusiasm for the arts in an effort to strengthen the community.
Ann-Eliza Musoke Taylor of PYT recently announced its inaugural project -- raising money to purchase a piece of visual art by New York-based artist Janet Biggs and donate it to the Tampa Museum of Art.
The group, created in 2009 by T. Hampton Dohrman and Taylor, will host five upcoming events at Tampa Bay venues leading up to a private showing of Biggs' mid-career retrospective at TMA on June 30.
