A recent ranking of the country's best resorts includes the luxurious Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach.
Readers of
Travel + Leisure Magazine have ranked the Sandpearl the #40 Best Resort in the U.S and Canada for the magazine's 2010 World's Best Awards.
The Sandpearl Resort, opened in 2007, is the first resort in the state to achieve LEED Silver Certification by the U.S Green Building Council and one of 15 resorts in the world to accomplish the feat.
