USF Shark Researchers Link Bite Marks To Specific Species

United Press International reports that researchers from the University of South Florida and the University of Florida have discovered how to identify a shark by measuring its bite.

Researcher George Burgess, who directs the International Shark Attack File at UF's Florida Museum of Natural History, tells UPI that that he has studied shark attacks for 30 years, and only now knows how to identify shark species from the nature of a shark bite.
