Wikipedia Creator Talks About Wisdom Of Failure At Tampa TED Talks

Speaking via Skype after being snowed-in in Washington, DC, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, who lives in St. Petersburg, talked to TEDx Conference attendees at the Straz Center about the path to success, which he says comprises repeated failure.

He discussed the many risks he has taken throughout his entepreneurial career, and how many times his ideas sputtered because they were too far ahead of their time.

Wales spoke as part of the Tampa TED conference offshoot, which consisted of presentations by numerous thinkers, including entrepreneurs, artists, activists and others.
