Clearwater’s Bionic Dolphin Gets Hollywood Treatment

The inspiration behind the film “Dolphin Tale,” starring Harry Connick Jr., Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd, was recently highlighted in one of Britain’s most popular tabloid magazines.

The Daily Mirror interviewed the real-life heroes behind Winter the Dolphin’s rescue and recovery for the “Animal Magic” section of its website.

“Dolphin Tale” debuts in theaters Sept. 23.
