Tampa Riverwalk nears completion, connects downtown

The Tampa Riverwalk — long envisioned by local leaders as a connector of people and places throughout downtown — is nearing completion. By 2016, the Riverwalk will become a continuous 2.6-mile path from the Heights Riverfront Development near the North Boulevard Bridge south and east along the Hillsborough River to the Channel District and Port Tampa Bay.
