The Tampa Downtown Partnership has compiled a list of the city's top 25 cultural venues and events in 2010.
Gary Shepherd writes that, with so many key happenings, Tampa is quickly becoming a vibrant center for culture and the arts. This year, he writes, is shaping up to be the best yet in that regard.
The Partnership lists Henry B. Plant Museum and the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts among its key cultural institutions. As for events, the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts and the International Dragon Boat Races are among the several Downtown Tampa happenings to make the list for 2010.
