For Good: Family Promise works with interfaith congregations to help homeless families

Fourteen host congregations set up make-shift living quarters for homeless families inside their houses of worship. Volunteers take turns supplying the guests three meals a day, as well as helping in whatever ways are needed, including taking kids to school, donating personal and household items, or offering social and emotional support.

About 60 volunteers will work in six-hour shifts assembling peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which will then be distributed to the homeless by young professionals in GRAB Tomorrow.
