Susan Green is a freelance writer and editor. She got her first newsroom job as a “copykid” at age 19, and that’s when she discovered a passion for telling the stories of others. She went on to get her master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and work as a staff writer or editor for numerous publications in Florida and North Carolina. Susan has many interests but especially enjoys exploring nature and historic sites. She has three young adult children, all of whom were born in Hillsborough County and share her passion for writing.
