Patrick Kelly is a Tampa native who is excited to be covering developments in his hometown. After receiving a BS in journalism from the University of Florida in 2014, he began his professional career as a reporter for the Craig Daily Press in Craig, CO, where he spent two years covering local government, the energy industry, crime and a host of additional topics. Although he considers himself a writer first, Patrick is also experienced in photography and the Colorado Press Association has recognized his work. His love of the Tampa Bay area inspired him to return to Florida and continue pursuing his passion for news. Patrick enjoys spending time at the beach and is always eager to learn something new.
