Adams Group, based in North Port, is a manufacturer and installer of interior architectural casework. It is a family company started in 1978 by two brothers in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1984. The company is currently run by CEO Ethan Adams, and relocated to a 50,000-square-foot facility in North Port in 2011. The Adams Group plans to grow in the next five years by adding 90 positions. The company offers employees a full benefits package including 90 percent employer-paid health insurance, vacation, paid holidays, group vision and dental as well as cash bonuses and profit sharing.
