Tampa Bay Rallies For Spot As World Cup Host City

Fresh off the frenzy surrounding this year's games in South Africa the FIFA World Cup is scouting sites for the 2018 and 2022 games.

Tampa Bay and 17 other potential hosts -- including Houston, Miami and New York/New Jersey -- are currently vying for public votes to convince FIFA officials their city should be chosen.

A U.S bid committee online poll ranks Tampa Bay fourth with almost 60,000 votes.

Host cities will be announced on Dec. 2.
